Questions, answered plainly
A calmer way to begin.
These answers cover the practical details that make wax seal practice more enjoyable.
Is wax seal making suitable for beginners?
Yes. Start with the Foundations course or First Impression Bundle and practice on cards before sealing finished stationery.
How long should melted wax cool?
Usually a few seconds is enough. The surface should look glossy but not runny before the stamp is pressed.
Can I use the tools with different wax brands?
Most standard sealing waxes work with our tools. Follow the wax maker’s heating guidance and protect your work surface.
How do I clean a brass stamp?
Let residue cool, then lift it gently with a soft brush. Avoid sharp metal objects and abrasive cleaners.
How should sealing wax be stored?
Keep it dry, away from direct heat, and separated by color so dust and pigment do not transfer.
Do you offer custom stamp design?
The Designing a Personal Mark course explains the design process. Contact the studio to discuss whether a referral is appropriate.
Can I add catalog items to Fallows?
Yes. Choose Track item on any catalog card. The ID is saved locally in your browser and appears on the Fallows page.
How does the demo cart work?
Cart contents are saved in localStorage on your device. Checkout opens a confirmation modal because no payment processor is connected.
Where can I ask about accessibility?
Send a message through Contact and describe the support you need. We will reply with practical information.
Seal note: temperature, pressure, and patience are the three quiet variables.
